This program equips you with comprehensive skills across multiple communication disciplines such as journalism, digital platforms, film production, PR, advertising, and visual design. You'll explore media, design, and business topics, building core competencies in organizational and media communications while having the flexibility to focus on two specialized areas. Through hands-on experience with professional-grade equipment, you'll hone analytical abilities and technical expertise to create content for diverse platforms including print, broadcast, and digital media.
Your initial year provides an overview of communication fields, with elective courses allowing you to tailor your studies. During subsequent years, you'll select two concentrations: either combining media with design/business or focusing on dual media specializations. Designed for professional preparedness, the curriculum develops competencies for both conventional and evolving communication careers. You'll work with industry-standard tools to create professional-grade content while assembling a career portfolio and networking with field experts.
Students from different countries should have qualifications equivalent to Australian Year 12 and a scaled mark of at least 50 in English, Literature, or English as an Additional Language or Dialect.
