Geology explores Earth's composition, its valuable resources, and natural planetary phenomena impacting humanity – including mineral and energy deposits, geological risks, climate shifts, and environmental conservation.

This immersive program follows industry standards, blending theoretical geology with hands-on training in mineral, energy, and water resources management. You'll learn sustainable approaches for resource provision in transitioning industries, preparing you for diverse geological professions.

Your initial year covers foundational geology, chemistry, mathematics, scientific writing, and digital competencies. The second year develops essential field, lab, and theoretical skills for analyzing geological systems.

The first two years are completed at Curtin Perth. For your final year, choose between the Applied Geology track at Curtin Perth or the Mining Geology specialization at Curtin Kalgoorlie, with optional units to customize your geoscience focus.
