The program includes 24 standard courses. Each employability and work placement course combines a 6-point subject with a 2-point transferable subject, creating a standard 8-point course.
Students must ensure their degree contains no more than 12 level one eight-point courses (note: combining a BUS 6-point subject with an EMP 2-point subject counts as one 8-point course). The subject level is indicated by the first digit of the course code, for example, ACC100 is a level one subject.
Students at Charles Sturt University Sydney and Charles Sturt University Melbourne may have a restricted choice of majors, minors, and electives.

Work placement opportunities may be available based on satisfactory academic progress and performance. You'll gain essential marketing knowledge - from analyzing consumer behavior and performing market research to launching new products and services, and developing communication strategies that build lasting customer relationships while creating value for customers, stakeholders, and businesses. When you study marketing at Charles Sturt, you'll incorporate current topics including digital and social media marketing, along with social and sustainable marketing practices into your education.
