The Associate Degree in Engineering offers a solid foundation in core engineering principles, with subsequent focus on implementing civil/structural, electrical/electronics, or mechanical engineering theories and practices.
This program equips students with problem-solving abilities for typical engineering challenges while laying the groundwork for advanced studies in the Bachelor of Engineering Science and Bachelor of Engineering Honours degrees.
Graduates working as civil and structural engineering associates will play a vital role in designing, operating, and maintaining infrastructure systems. Primary focus areas encompass water management, transportation networks, bridge construction, and coastal structures.
Admission requirements are met by one of the following:
Successful completion of the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (or equivalent) and the awarding of an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of at least 60.
Successful completion of at least 0.5 year of full-time study (or equivalent) of a higher education degree/diploma.
Overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications considered equivalent to the above Australian qualifications.
