Our Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Diploma of Professional Practice (Co-op Engineering) offers comprehensive work-integrated learning, including 48 weeks of paid industry placement, giving you exceptional opportunities to acquire hands-on experience before launching your engineering career.
This combined degree program includes nearly a year of paid work placements and project-based learning, helping you cultivate essential professional competencies for engineering roles while completing your studies with valuable industry exposure. The curriculum emphasizes employer-sought abilities like collaborative teamwork and analytical problem-solving.
The practical work component lets you implement classroom knowledge in real-world settings while adapting to diverse professional environments. You can pursue international work placements to broaden your global perspective. Upon completion, you'll emerge as a job-ready graduate with polished interview techniques and application skills.
A secondary qualification (Year 11 or 12, or equivalent)
English language proficiency
An International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic) overall band score of at least 6.5 overall with a minimum 6.0 for Reading and Writing and 6.0 for Speaking and Listening, or
An Occupational English Test with Grades A or B only in each of the four components.
TOEFL Internet-based: Overall score of 75 with no score less than 17; Pearson Test of English Academic: Overall score of 54 with no score less than 46; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) / Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE): Overall test score of 169 (with no individual band score of less than 162).
