The Bachelor of Film and Television is an immersive, practice-oriented degree that combines hands-on production work with theoretical creative studies, helping you cultivate your unique artistic vision. This in-depth program emphasizes visual narrative across essential disciplines including producing, screenwriting, directing, cinematography, editing, sound design, production design, and television broadcasting. Industry-experienced instructors will guide you in mastering contemporary production methods using professional-grade equipment. You'll refine your visual style and narrative skills while gaining valuable knowledge about the business side of global film, television, and digital media industries. This three-year course follows a two-semester annual structure, enabling international students to finish their studies within three years.
Students who have completed Year 12 in Australia or equivalent secondary studies in other countries.
English language proficiency requirements:
IB - International Baccalaureate Diploma - 24
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Academic Overall score 6.5 with no sub score less than 6.0
Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT): Overall score 79 (no scores below 21 in Writing, 18 in Speaking, and 16 in Reading and Listening)
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score 58 with no Communicative Scores below 50
