The Bachelor of Communication (Business) equips students with core knowledge in Communication and Media while specializing in Marketing. Bond University's adaptable Bachelor of Communication (Business) program allows you to customize your educational path. Alongside the Marketing major, you can select an additional specialization or minor from ten Communication disciplines: Advertising, Communication and Society, Corporate Storytelling, Creative Writing, Digital Media, Film and Television, Journalism, Media Studies, Social Media, or Public Relations. Throughout your coursework, you'll have opportunities to develop marketing plans, advertising initiatives, and PR campaigns for actual clients, alongside creating blogs, podcasts, published articles, and websites. The program also provides valuable perspectives on human interaction through communication theory courses covering topics like gender and intercultural communication. Graduates with a Bachelor of Communication (Business) can pursue careers such as social media marketing expert, communications coordinator, marketing and PR specialist, strategic communications director, sales associate, campaign coordinator, research communications officer, content writer, or web designer.
Students who have completed Year 12 in Australia or equivalent secondary studies in other countries.
English language proficiency requirements:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Academic Overall score 7.0 with no sub score less than 6.5
Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT): Overall score 94, no scores below 24 in Writing, and 20 in Speaking, Reading and Listening
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Academic Overall score 65 with no Communicative Scores below 58
