The Master of Museum and Heritage Studies program at ANU offers a distinctive pathway to combine studies with Indiana University, enabling students to earn a dual degree with the Master of Arts in Arts Administration. This collaboration leverages partnerships with cultural institutions across Australia and the U.S., equipping graduates for dynamic careers in both Museum Curatorship (ANU) and Arts Administration (IU). ANU's curriculum covers foundational curatorial techniques and collections care while exploring contemporary themes influencing global cultural policy, including social inclusion, Indigenous collections, audience engagement, and community participation. Meanwhile, IU's program develops essential leadership competencies for the arts sector, providing training in management, marketing, policy development, and arts advocacy.
