The Chemistry Honours program is designed for students with a solid background in the subject who wish to pursue independent research under faculty guidance. Typically completed full-time over two consecutive semesters, this specialization combines research training, advanced study of contemporary theories, and a major research project leading to a thesis. It establishes core research competencies and serves as a springboard for diverse career paths in science and beyond, as well as preparation for doctoral studies in chemistry.
Learning Outcomes
Design and conduct an autonomous, sustained research investigation to advance knowledge in a selected chemistry discipline.
