The Chemistry Honours program is designed for students with a solid grounding in chemistry who wish to pursue an independent research project under faculty supervision. Typically completed full-time over two consecutive semesters, this specialization combines research training, advanced study of contemporary theories, and a significant research endeavor culminating in a thesis. It establishes core research competencies and serves as a springboard for diverse career paths both within and beyond scientific fields, as well as preparation for doctoral studies in chemistry.
Learning Outcomes
Design and conduct an autonomous, sustained research inquiry into a selected chemistry topic to contribute novel insights to the field.
