The Honours program in Actuarial Studies, provided by the Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Applied Statistics, gives top-performing undergraduate students a rigorous yet fulfilling year of advanced study. We look for exceptional candidates eager to conduct self-directed research under faculty supervision. Achieving high marks in the honours coursework may qualify students for exemptions from certain Actuaries Institute Associateship and Fellowship prerequisites.

An AQF Level 7 Bachelor of Actuarial Studies degree or equivalent completed within the last two years with a weighted average mark equivalent to an ANU 75 per cent calculated from 36 units ie 0.75 EFTSL equivalent.
