The Associate Degree of Business (Project Management) serves as an exit qualification within the Bachelor of Business (Project Management) program. It prepares students for paraprofessional roles in project management across various industries and for continued education at the bachelor's level. This course offers a comprehensive general education, emphasizing the development of project management and business knowledge and skills. Students complete seven core units: Academic Skills for Success; Business Communication & Stakeholder Management; Accounting for Managers; Principles of Management and Organisations; Foundations of Information Technology; Business & Corporations Law; and Statistics and Principles of Data Analysis for Business. These foundational courses are supplemented by seven specialized project management units aligned with PMBOK knowledge areas and methodologies. Additionally, students choose two electives from available options to enhance their core and specialized studies.
