The Bachelor of Arts (Western Civilisation) combined with a Master of Teaching (Secondary) offers an intellectually challenging teacher preparation program. This unique dual qualification enables students to pursue a liberal arts education focused on Western traditions while completing graduate-level teacher training.
Through this creative approach, graduates qualify as secondary educators with specialization options including archaeology, drama, economics, geography, environmental studies, history, mathematics, religious studies, or visual arts.
Admission considers both exceptional ATAR scores and evaluation of "Ramsay Attributes" - qualities indicating potential for meaningful societal contribution, assessed through application materials including resumes, recommendations, and personal essays.
