Our Master of Maritime Engineering offers adaptable study options, developed in partnership with ASC - the organization responsible for constructing and maintaining Australia's Collins Class submarine fleet. Through this program you will:
expand and refine your existing knowledge
acquire valuable practical skills and specialized expertise
complete intensive core courses covering Submarine Design, Naval Ship Engineering and Systems Engineering in just six months
select from diverse elective options and specialized study tracks.
Students sponsored by industry partners will additionally gain hands-on experience via workplace projects.
This program follows a structured, phased approach. You can exit after six or twelve months of full-time study to receive either a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Maritime Engineering.

Relevant Honours degree or equivalent plus two years relevant work experience, or Graduate Diploma in Marine Engineering.
IELTS: Overall band score of 6.5 and Band score of 6 in all bands; TOEFL Paper-based: total score of 577 with a minimum of 4.5 in the Test of Written English (TWE) or Internet-based: total score of 79 with a minimum of 21 in Writing, 18 in Speaking and 13 in Reading and Listening; Pearson Test of English (Academic) overall score of 58 and Skills profile of no less than 50 in all skills; and Cambridge English-Advanced (CAE): Overall score of 176 and Individual score of 169 in all skills.
