The Bachelor of Arts allows you to simultaneously explore two academic disciplines through a double major. Study under renowned experts in fields like Cultural Studies, Linguistics, Sociology, Creative Arts, and Language Studies. Enhance your cultural understanding by participating in global exchange programs or overseas study opportunities. Develop international perspectives through the Hawke Ambassador Volunteer Program. Utilize cutting-edge campus resources, such as our Multimedia Languages Lab for live interactions with native speakers worldwide. Consider the combined Bachelor of Arts/Master of Teaching (Secondary) program for direct entry into advanced studies.

This versatile degree offers extensive career opportunities. Language majors engage in thorough studies of French, Italian, Japanese, or English (for non-native speakers), with options for cultural immersion through exchange programs. Students will: develop deep knowledge of literary contexts and creative writing techniques; acquire skills for producing various written works independently and collaboratively; master writing, editing, and analytical abilities applicable across professional fields.

Career prospects: Multilingual graduates with intercultural competence are increasingly sought after across industries. Opportunities exist in education, professional services, and global organizations with international operations.
