Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) involves creating, applying, and assessing environmental changes to achieve meaningful behavioral improvements. This approach relies on direct observation, measurement, and analysis of how environment and behavior interact. The MS ABA program in Psychological Sciences and Counseling is a two-year curriculum aligned with the BACB Fifth Edition Task List and recognized as a Verified Course Sequence (VCS) by the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI). Graduates meet eligibility requirements to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) exam and pursue the COBA certification in Ohio.
BCBA Exam pass rates are not disclosed for programs with fewer than six first-time test-takers annually or those operating for less than four years. For updated pass rates, visit https://www.bacb.com/verified-course-sequences/
The program focuses on developing core behavior-analytic competencies (including measurement, experimental design, behavior-change strategies, and ethical standards), client-focused skills (such as assessment, intervention, and supervision), and adherence to BACB's Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
