Maintaining continuous ABET accreditation since 1959, Youngstown State's Civil Engineering program follows a proven blueprint for achievement. Students build solid grounding in mathematics, sciences, and core engineering principles, complemented by comprehensive exposure to all primary civil engineering specialties. Applicants must have graduated from high school or have successfully completed the General Education Development (GED) test to be considered for admission. Freshman applicants applying for admission to Youngstown State University must submit a high school transcript and American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) scores.
