Data serves as the driving force of the information economy, much like solar power—it's a sustainable asset that can be shared universally without depletion. Businesses strive to collect vast amounts of personal data to tailor advertisements, monitor busy store sections, or recommend engaging content like cat videos to prolong user engagement. While data documents past events, its true worth lies in enhancing foresight and strategic choices. Corporations determine offerings and pricing by analyzing purchasing patterns from you and similar consumers. Your information refines their strategies, amplifying business revenues. Data specialists convert numerical figures into actionable knowledge, influencing company direction and profitability. They also advance societal welfare by tackling critical issues in healthcare, education, urban development, poverty reduction, and transit systems.

The Katz School's M.S. in Data Analytics and Visualization equips you to convert unprocessed data into meaningful results. You'll gain expertise in predictive and investigative methodologies alongside visualization and storytelling techniques. The program covers essential technologies such as Python, SQL/NoSQL, Tableau, AWS, and AutoML. Distinctively, you'll explore foundational AI and machine learning concepts. Study under industry leaders while developing practical forecasting and analytical abilities in NYC. Substantial scholarship opportunities and financial support are offered.
