Yeshiva University's Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences provides comprehensive education and research possibilities in both classical mathematics fields and cross-disciplinary mathematical applications. Program participants can focus their studies on either (i) theoretical and practical mathematics, or (ii) computational science. Faculty expertise spans diverse domains including dynamical systems, celestial mechanics, astrophysical dynamics, partial differential equations, geometric analysis, algebra, combinatorics, mathematical physics, network theory, operator theory, spectral analysis, quantum field theory, financial mathematics, computational topology, biostatistics, artificial intelligence, visual computing, and manifold learning. Graduates of our doctoral program gain the qualifications to engage in advanced mathematical work across academic institutions, government agencies, healthcare organizations, and research sectors.
