The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) program equips students to become primary healthcare providers specializing in gender-specific medical needs. Participants learn to address women's health concerns from adolescence through senior years, gaining specialized knowledge in gynecology, prenatal care, and general medicine. The curriculum also covers sexual and reproductive healthcare for men and individuals of all gender identities. The program integrates research and principles from nursing, midwifery, medicine, scientific disciplines, and humanities to form a comprehensive educational foundation. Students gain hands-on experience through clinical rotations in diverse outpatient settings, including community clinics and both public and private women's health practices.
