The Global Health track equips students to work with diverse populations worldwide and locally as healthcare providers, instructors, researchers, and policy advisors. Participants explore various global health principles through cross-disciplinary coursework alongside hands-on clinical and research experiences. Track members complete two graduate-level global health courses chosen from Yale's curated offerings across different schools or departments. Additionally, students fulfill at least 60 extra clinical hours in international locations with YSN-approved supervisors by taking Clinical Practice I and II for Global Health Track (NURS 6230 and NURS 6240). Those in the Global Health Track can enrich their advanced nursing education through organized collaborations with YSN's partner organizations across multiple countries, such as China, Ghana, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Panama, and Uganda.
