The Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) program equips graduates to serve in advanced nursing roles, delivering comprehensive care to acutely and critically ill adult patients throughout all stages of acute care treatment. Through classroom instruction, simulation labs, hands-on workshops, and clinical rotations, students gain essential knowledge drawn from high-acuity patient scenarios, current healthcare standards, and research-backed practices. The curriculum highlights interprofessional teamwork to enhance care for critically ill patients and their families. Our AGACNP instructors are all practicing, board-certified Acute Care NPs who integrate their real-world clinical expertise into teaching.
