The joint-degree MEM program mandates completion of 36 credit hours along with a summer internship and either a thesis or capstone project. Additionally, all joint-degree candidates must participate in a three-week technical skills training session prior to starting their YSE coursework. These intensive August workshops cover practical skills like plant identification, ecosystem management, land surveying, and urban ecosystem assessment. For further details, consult YSE's Degree Programs. At the School of Public Health (YSPH), students complete 15 course units encompassing core subjects, departmental requirements, and electives.
