The specialization equips students to take leadership roles in building a more sustainable, fair, and efficient energy landscape. Those completing the Energy Specialization will gain qualifications for diverse career paths, including positions at private energy companies, renewable energy ventures, consulting firms, utility providers, global financial organizations, governmental bodies, and environmental policy institutes. Energy Analysis participants must complete an extra course, ideally selected to deepen their knowledge in a specific energy or environmental focus area.

A four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. institution or the international equivalent.
Applicants with a three-year degree from an accredited international institution are eligible to apply, but potential admission will depend upon an equivalency evaluation of your degree. Most evaluations can be done at YSE upon submission, but in certain cases WES or ECE evaluations may be required after review.
