Participants in this program benefit from Yale University's extensive expertise across modern biological and pathological disciplines. As the primary program for most Pathology Department faculty, ExPath is dedicated to educating students about the fundamental mechanisms underlying human diseases. Faculty members specialize in diverse fields including cellular and molecular biology, signal transduction, mitochondrial disorders and aging, cytoskeletal studies, virology, cancer research, immunology, vascular biology, bioinformatics, and research using model organisms like mice and yeast. Additional details can be found in the Faculty and Labs section.
Applicants must have completed your undergraduate degree (bachelor's or equivalent) or will have completed it prior to your intended matriculation date at Yale.
