The Applied Math Program fosters an interdisciplinary environment where activities bridge multiple fields, employing diverse mathematical and computational approaches. Our research team comprises faculty from Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics & Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Geology and Geophysics, and the Medical School. With approximately 25 members, all hold primary appointments in their home departments. The program also features Gibbs Assistant Professors collaborating closely with faculty and graduate students. Weekly seminars bring leading experts from various disciplines to share their knowledge. We provide both Undergraduate and Graduate programs, with core curriculum offerings from Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics and Data Science, and Engineering and Applied Science.
Applicants must have completed your undergraduate degree (bachelor's or equivalent) or will have completed it prior to your intended matriculation date at Yale.
