Collaborating with various Yale University schools and departments, the Law School provides combined degree programs for a master's or doctorate alongside a J.D. (Juris Doctor). These programs cater to individuals seeking specialized legal expertise in specific fields. All applications require review and approval by the Faculty Committee on Special Courses of Study. While joint degrees frequently involve the Graduate School and School of Management, students have also pursued combined studies with Forestry & Environmental Studies, Divinity, and Medicine. Additionally, a partnership with Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs offers another joint-degree option. The Law School may also approve individualized joint-degree arrangements with other universities' relevant programs.
