The Computer Science and Economics (CSEC) interdisciplinary major is designed for students passionate about exploring the intersection of computational theory and economic principles. This Bachelor of Science program equips students with core competencies in economic theory, computational methods, and data analytics, while offering practical training in analyzing real-world economic datasets. Graduates emerge prepared for diverse career paths blending economic and computational expertise, as well as for scholarly pursuits at the nexus of these disciplines. Key areas of study encompass algorithmic market mechanisms, financial computing, digital platform economics, artificial intelligence applications, and network economics.
Applicants must have a completion of high school.
Applicants will have IELTS scores of 7.0 or higher and Pearson Test scores of 70 or higher. TOEFL scores of at least the following: 100 on the internet-based TOEFL; 25 on the paper-and-paper TOEFL Paper-delivered Test.
