Neuroscience seeks to unravel how the brain generates consciousness and actions, striving to deepen human knowledge, enhance well-being, and maximize capabilities. This involves a wide-ranging, multidisciplinary approach that bridges microscopic and macroscopic scales. On one hand, biological, chemical, and physical sciences are refining our grasp of molecular and cellular processes in neural communication and growth. Conversely, psychological, psychiatric, and computational fields connect neural networks and systems to cognition and conduct. Across all scales, the diverse toolkit of techniques and data interpretation relies on robust fundamentals in core sciences, quantitative methods, and computational approaches.
