The Computer Science Department provides both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degree options in Computer Science, along with an accelerated Bachelor's/Master's dual degree program. Students can also pursue interdisciplinary majors combining Computer Science with Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Psychology. These programs deliver rigorous technical training while enabling students to explore diverse academic fields, maintaining the breadth characteristic of a liberal arts education. With fewer mandatory courses compared to peer institutions, this flexible structure allows many students to pursue additional majors in fields like Economics, Music, Political Science, or Theater Arts. The Computer Science and Mathematics joint major specifically caters to students fascinated by computational mathematics, computer applications in math, algorithmic theory, and the mathematical principles underlying computing.
