The Bachelor of Arts in Public Health is a multidisciplinary program tailored for those pursuing careers in health education and community advocacy. This degree also equips students for advanced studies in public health. Upon completing the BA program, graduates qualify to sit for the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) examination.
The Department of Population and Public Health Sciences partners with the College of Liberal Arts to deliver curriculum covering public health fundamentals, communication techniques, analytical methods, and policy studies. Students also benefit from partnerships with regional health agencies and medical institutions, gaining hands-on experience through interactions with public health practitioners. Each student undertakes a culminating capstone project showcasing their professional skill development
