The Teacher Leadership Certificate program empowers educators to obtain a Teacher Leader Endorsement in accordance with New Jersey's Teacher Leader legislation. Approved by the NJ Department of Education, this pathway lets teachers enhance their existing instructional certification by finishing a state-recognized program that follows the Teacher Leader Model Standards. In response to this emerging certification need, WPU has created a 12-credit hybrid curriculum. This two-semester, cohort-driven program consists of four 3-credit courses detailed below. Participants will explore all seven domains of the Teacher Leader Model Standards as prescribed by state guidelines throughout their studies.
