Our Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice (CCJ) program equips students with expertise in two interconnected disciplines. Criminology focuses on the scientific examination of crime - its characteristics, prevalence, origins, and impacts - along with societal reactions to criminal behavior. Criminal justice science analyzes formal systems addressing crime, including legal frameworks, law enforcement, judicial processes, correctional systems, and rehabilitation services.
While criminology explores crime as a social phenomenon, criminal justice examines institutional responses to unlawful acts. Our CCJ degree bridges these complementary areas, providing graduates with comprehensive understanding and practical abilities. Upon completion, students will be qualified for diverse career paths within criminology and criminal justice sectors, having mastered both theoretical foundations and applied competencies.
