At Wichita State, experiential education takes center stage. Every degree program incorporates guaranteed practical learning or research components, ensuring you graduate with job-ready skills and real-world experience.
This 26-month program spans seven semesters, structured into two phases: 53 credit hours of academic instruction followed by 40 credit hours of clinical rotations and research in diverse locations, including rural areas, cities, and underserved populations.
Upon completion, graduates qualify to sit for the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants examination, a mandatory requirement for PA licensure nationwide.

Qualification Requirements

Be admitted to WSU Graduate School
Hold a bachelor's degree, or demonstrate intent to complete a bachelor's degree, from a regionally accredited institution by the spring semester prior to entering the PA program
Complete all prerequisite science courses by the time of application
Have a minimum overall GPA and science GPA of 3.0

TOEFL 79 on the internet-based test, or 550 on the paper-based test.
IELTS minimum overall band score of 6.5 is required
