Wichita State University's Barton School of Business, accredited by AACSB, offers a unique MEM-to-MBA pathway that enables Master of Engineering Management (MEM) graduates to efficiently earn an MBA. This dual-degree opportunity enhances business acumen and management expertise while expanding professional possibilities. Wichita State prioritizes hands-on education—every program includes guaranteed practical learning or research components, ensuring students graduate with job-ready competencies. MEM alumni can transfer 12 credit hours (four courses) toward their MBA requirements, reducing the total coursework to 60 credits for both degrees. Note: Students must finish the MEM program before applying credits to the MBA. The comprehensive MBA curriculum covers essential business disciplines including finance, marketing, accounting, economics, and management—with no thesis requirement. Most courses follow an eight-week hybrid format, combining weekly in-person sessions with online components.
