WSU's Barton School offers an AACSB-accredited Master of Accountancy (MACC) program that blends comprehensive accounting education with wide-ranging business and management training. This program prepares you for professional growth or a career transition in either public or private sectors. Wichita State prioritizes hands-on learning—every degree program includes mandatory practical learning or research components, ensuring you graduate with job-ready skills. The MACC program typically requires at least 30 credit hours, though students without an accounting undergraduate degree may need additional coursework. Beyond the standard accounting master's, the Barton School provides two focus areas: accounting information systems (AIS) and taxation. Evening classes are available for working professionals.
