This three-year cohort program combines student-faculty research that directly supports regional educational institutions. Instead of traditional lectures, the program features seminar-style learning where professors and students collaborate as peers. Classes meet weekly during fall and spring semesters, with summer courses offered in a blended in-person/online format. The curriculum consists of 55 credit hours, comprehensive exams, and an oral dissertation defense. Participants complete two years of shared coursework before focusing on their dissertation in the final year.
The 55-credit program includes comprehensive examinations and culminates with an oral dissertation defense. Students progress through two years of collaborative coursework before dedicating their third year to dissertation research.
