Wichita State's sustainable materials and design certificate program caters to engineering and technology professionals as well as undergraduate students. Participants will develop a solid foundation in core principles while exploring emerging fields like computer-aided engineering programs focused on optimized design, advanced nondestructive testing techniques, sustainable materials research at various scales (meso, micro, and nano), and automated material recovery systems that prioritize environmental protection, safety, and public health.

This option is for students who have already graduated from high school (or will soon graduate from high school).
Students who have attended another college or university will be considered for transfer admission -- even if they do not want transfer credit from their previous school.
Students who have completed AP, IB, or Cambridge A or AS level curriculum are eligible to receive transfer credit.
Students must submit final high school transcripts.
You must submit your official final high school transcript as soon as it is available. If you do not submit your final official transcript to us by the end of your first semester at Wichita State University,
you will not be allowed to enroll for subsequent terms.
