A public health science undergraduate certificate (UGC-PHS) enables both students and professionals to broaden their understanding of core public health principles. This program equips learners to better comprehend healthcare systems, recognize environmental health significance, and grasp how public health policies shape society. The 12-credit curriculum includes a mandatory Introduction to Public Health course plus three electives selected from epidemiology, health communication, global health, environmental health, community development, and program planning.

You must submit your official final high school transcript as soon as it is available. If you do not submit your final official transcript to us by the end of your first semester at Wichita State University,
you will not be allowed to enroll for subsequent terms.
