Wichita State's human factors psychology undergraduate certificate equips you with essential knowledge and skills for conducting research in a human factors laboratory. This program benefits both psychology undergraduates and graduates, as well as students from other disciplines. Psychology majors can acquire practical industry experience before completing their degree. Fatigue-related driving causes numerous injuries and fatalities annually across the U.S. Psychology professor Jibo He and his Human Automation Interaction Lab team are actively working to address this critical issue.
Through hands-on collaboration with He, students develop valuable industry competencies while creating a drowsiness detection device to prevent accidents. This innovative project aims to significantly improve road safety.

You must submit your official final high school transcript as soon as it is available. If you do not submit your final official transcript to us by the end of your first semester at Wichita State University,
