An undergraduate health science certificate (UGC-HS) enables college students and professionals to broaden their understanding of core clinical health science principles and healthcare systems. The UGC-HS equips learners to operate effectively within healthcare environments while offering foundational health science knowledge. This 12-credit program includes two mandatory courses - Aging Studies Fundamentals, Public Health Basics, and U.S. Healthcare Systems Overview - plus one elective from biology, chemistry, health ethics, or general health professions.

Students must submit final high school transcripts.
You must submit your official final high school transcript as soon as it is available. If you do not submit your final official transcript to us by the end of your first semester at Wichita State University,
you will not be allowed to enroll for subsequent terms.
