Wichita State's undergraduate cybersecurity essentials certificate equips students with comprehensive, hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity. The program covers networking, computer hardware, IoT, operating systems, security, and Python programming to address actual cybersecurity issues. This 13-credit certificate includes four key courses:

This option is for students who have already graduated from high school (or will soon graduate from high school).
Students who have attended another college or university will be considered for transfer admission -- even if they do not want transfer credit from their previous school.
Students who have completed AP, IB, or Cambridge A or AS level curriculum are eligible to receive transfer credit.
Students must submit final high school transcripts.
You must submit your official final high school transcript as soon as it is available. If you do not submit your final official transcript to us by the end of your first semester at Wichita State University,
you will not be allowed to enroll for subsequent terms.
