This program offers an intensive exploration of human movement through mechanical, physiological, and pathological lenses. Ideal for students pursuing careers in fitness, coaching, rehabilitation, or related fields focused on movement and exercise planning, this degree also serves as a foundation for allied health professions or advanced studies in exercise physiology, biomechanics, sports psychology, nutrition, and motor development. Complementary courses in biology, chemistry, computer science, communications, health education, and physics provide deeper insights into human structure and function.
The sports psychology track equips students with behavioral insights and teaching methods to improve performance in athletic, recreational, and exercise contexts. With a focus on psychology and exercise science, this pathway prepares students for coaching roles and meets prerequisites for graduate studies in sports or exercise psychology.
