Biology explores the science of life and living beings. Biologists aim to achieve three key objectives: (1) comprehending how organisms are structured and how they operate, (2) producing and sharing accurate biological information, and (3) cultivating profound insights into nature that can help address pressing environmental, health, and societal challenges.

As instructors, our mission is to offer rigorous academic curricula that spark inquisitiveness, innovation, and enduring analytical skills in students undertaking a liberal arts education in Biology. Each Bachelor of Science program in Biology caters to learners aspiring to advance to graduate studies or build careers in biological sciences or education. These programs are structured to help students build a cohesive understanding of biological principles while honing analytical reasoning, numerical problem-solving capabilities, leadership qualities, collaborative skills, and scientific research techniques.
