Canada and the United States occupy the same continent and maintain strong economic connections, along with shared historical events and cultural parallels, yet they also exhibit significant distinctions. The Canadian-American Studies program enables students to explore how these commonalities and contrasts influence crucial cultural, environmental, and economic matters across North America, both presently and in years to come. The program offers three focus areas: Canadian-American relations, Canadian Histories/Cultures/Identities, and Francophone Canada. Students also have the option to create a customized specialization with guidance from a faculty advisor.
