Anthropology investigates the essence of humanity, examining both the scientific analysis of cultural differences and commonalities across global societies throughout history. This field covers human biological evolution, adaptation to diverse environments, and cultural manifestations of identity and community. Anthropology's comparative perspective offers a comprehensive lens for examining every aspect of human existence.
Our Anthropology Department offers education in four specialized areas: Cultural Anthropology, Archaeology, Biological Anthropology, and Linguistic Anthropology. Through ethnographic research, comparative analysis, and historical approaches - often in collaboration with global communities - anthropologists provide valuable insights into modern challenges while uncovering historical and potential resolutions.
