The Master of Science in Cybersecurity: Computer Science is an interdisciplinary program available both on-campus and online, focusing on the expanding cybersecurity field. To earn the degree, students must complete two foundational courses, five to six core courses, and two to three electives.
Admission to the Graduate College is required for this program. Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree in a technical field or a related IT and management discipline. Those with different academic backgrounds but relevant professional experience may also qualify.
Students enrolled through the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences need to complete a minimum of 18 credits from the specified CYCS courses. Those admitted via the Haworth College of Business must take at least 18 credits from the designated CIS/CYIS course offerings.
This program offers flexible learning options, including asynchronous online and in-person formats. Applicants must select their preferred instructional method (online or in-person) when submitting their application.
