The Accelerated Graduate Degree Program (AGDP) enables undergraduate mathematics students to earn their M.A. in mathematics more quickly. Eligible undergraduates can apply between 6 to 12 credit hours of 5000-level coursework toward their master's degree, provided they complete their M.A. within two years of finishing their bachelor's in mathematics.
This initiative helps mathematics majors pursue an accelerated master's by combining undergraduate and graduate studies, requiring a total of 137 credit hours.
Students must have completed a minimum of 80 and a maximum of 96 credit hours in their undergraduate programs, including credits earned from advanced placement.
Students must have a minimum accumulated grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 at WMU and 3.5 in mathematics classes.
