The Music Performance Certificate Program is an exclusive, non-degree graduate initiative designed to cultivate exceptionally talented performers, preparing them for competitions, auditions, and professional performance careers. This intensive curriculum features private lessons, solo recitals, ensemble participation (both large groups and chamber music), musicianship training, and career development workshops. Students may also enroll in supplementary music theory or history courses.
While the program is structured for one-year completion, participants have up to six years to fulfill all requirements, as mandated by Western Michigan University's graduate certificate policies.
