The higher education and student affairs (HESA) certificate program aims to strengthen the skills of current student affairs professionals and administrators by delivering the theoretical foundations and academic understanding of the discipline. To qualify for this program, candidates must either work full-time in higher education or be pursuing another graduate degree while showing dedication to and involvement in higher education settings.
A completed Bachelor’s Degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Minimum English proficiency test scores:
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): 80 iBT
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic: 6.5
Pearson Test of English, Academic Module (PTE): 54
Michigan English Test (MET): 57
Application deadlines:
It is recommended that HESA Certificate students submit applications for Fall admission by the preferred admission deadline of December 15.
